Training and capacity building services
The Development Solutions provides full-pledged trainings and capacity building services to equip development actors with a complete set of competencies to ensure outcomes and impact-driven delivery of interventions.

Our trainings combine theoretical knowledge and practical experience of the participants to ensure better application of the local knowledge in the course of the training. We adopt Brain Based Learning methodology during the delivery of the training developed for adult learners which implies "creation" instead of "consumption", stimulating learners to active participation and creation of applied knowledge through 70% of practical activities. Outcomes Harvesting workshops on site
Our 1 days outcomes harvesting workshops are designed to integrate results driven approach in a complex and changing environments to assist the development actors in formulating results (outcomes), assessing their quality and importance and linking them with contribution to the highest results and /or impact.

The approach allows to quickly assess the progress of the project's interventions in terms of results, stimulate "results thinking" on the part of the development practitioners and introduce the culture of Results Based Management in the organizations. Our 1-days outcomes harvesting workshops are designed to accommodate up to 20 participants who work in groups to formulate outcomes based on principle "who, what, when and why started doing differently" as the result of intervention.

"Harvested" outcomes are assessed by the development peers and used to draw future implementation strategy of the projects. The methodology of the workshops is adapted for those interventions which do not have well elaborated logframes but need the approach to capture results in a complex and changing environments.
Monitoring and Evaluation training on site
Our 1 days monitoring and evaluation trainings are design for the Project's Managers to enhance their capacity in designing and managing Monitoring and Evaluation of the development interventions. The training includes theoretical knowledge and practical activities to enhance understanding of the M&E process including the evaluation criteria based on OECD methodology for evaluating the development projects in particular including human rights-based approach, gender-sensitive approach and non-discrimination, qualitative and quantity data collecting methods, development of the M&E Plan and Budget, integrating M&E process into the Project's cycle including the external evaluations.

By the end of the training the participants will be able to draft M&E plans, develop terms of reference for the external evaluation including formulation of the criteria for selecting the evaluation consultant.
